Messe Düsseldorf is entering the Indian foundry market with its world-leading trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST – collectively known as “The Bright World of Metals” – is entering the Indian foundry market and has signed a groundbreaking cooperation agreement with Inter Foundry, the international trade fair for the ferrous and non-ferrous foundry industry in India.
From 25 to 28 September 2024, the international thermal processing industry will convene at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) alongside Düsseldorf’s world-leading trade fairs for wire, cable and tubes, wire and Tube China, showcasing numerous technological innovations and a high-calibre supporting programme (SNIEC).
The Messe Düsseldorf Group is expanding its global network in the growth market of Turkey and, with the leading Eurasian trade fairs for the metallurgy, foundry and aluminium industries – ANKIROS/TURKCAST and ALUEXPO – is adding three strong new events to its global metal trade fair portfolio.
The central theme of Bright World of Metals, which took place with great success in Düsseldorf from 12 to 16 June 2023, was the transformation of the metals industry towards climate neutrality.
Messe Düsseldorf is expanding its global event format in the field of foundry technology to Latin America, thereby marking another important milestone in the internationalisation of the “Bright World of Metals”.
The new dates for GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST have been confirmed. The industry’s leading international trade fairs will take place from 21 to 25 June 2027 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.

Whether it’s world-class international conferences, prestigious awards, high-level discussions with industry experts and politicians, special exhibitions or insights into the latest topics in the lecture forums – at “The Bright World of Metals”, taking place from 12 to 16 June 2023 in Düsseldorf, there will be numerous programme highlights to complement the exhibition featuring over 2,100 exhibitors from 56 countries.
At NEWCAST, foundries from all over the world will be demonstrating the full range of innovative casting processes and products to decision-makers and design engineers. The importance of NEWCAST as an international showcase for the foundry industry is reflected not least in the rising number of exhibitors. Even at this stage, NEWCAST 2023 is already larger than it was in 2019.
